Become a Children First teacher or assistant teacher!

We are hiring! Located in downtown Columbus, Children First is a non-profit daycare center that has been in business for over 36 years!

Full-time positions offer paid holidays; paid vacation and sick time; health, vision, and dental insurance; 401(k) retirement benefits; paid training; and paid parking or transportation!

Qualifications include:

• Meeting state licensing requirements;

• High school diploma;

• CDA, Associates, or Bachelor's in Early Childhood preferred; and

• 6 months of child care center experience preferred.

Responsibilities include teaching children through play, developing lesson plans, and building positive relationships with families!​

Children First exceeds the NAEYC guidelines in our classrooms. We strive to maintain a ratio of students to teachers as follows:

• 1:3 infants

• 1:6 toddlers

• 1:8 preschoolers
